Yucca Cane

Yuccas are a hardy, upright genus of plants with a crown of long pointed leaves. At first glance they may resemble a dracaena, although the leaves are much thicker, firmer, and rougher. Yucca are desert plants that thrive on as much sun as you can give them indoors, and prefer to dry out completely between waterings. During the growing season, when receiving lots of direct sun, it may get thorough waterings in between drying out, but during the deep winter it goes almost dormant, and minimal watering is needed.
