Potted 10" Cast Iron

This leafy dark green plant is excellent in low light area, making it versatile in any home! The cast iron plant also blooms small purple flowers near the base of the stalks! Extremely resilient, it will thrive in bright indirect to low indirect spaces!

Climate - Native to tropical regions of the Americas and southern Asia
Light - Bright indirect to medium indirect
Soil - Well-draining potting soil, likes being repotted annually in spring with refreshed soil
Water - Keep soil moist, the plant will droop when it’s thirsty. Can withstand short periods of dry soil, but leaves will turn brown if not enough water. Very sensitive to fluoride, prefers filtered water.
Humidity - Likes increased humidity, use pebble tray or frequent misting
Temperature - Typical indoor temperature acceptable, prefers temperatures above 60 degrees
Fertilizer - Prefers being fertilized sparingly, about every 6 weeks beginning in late winter to encourage flowering in the spring and summer
Flowering - Requires bright indirect light to produce larger blooms and benefits from gentle fertilizing

Potted plants come pre-potted in the chosen planter with high quality soil. Saucers sold separately.
