Zebra Lipstick Plant

A trailing tropical plant featuring beautiful foliage with mottled green and purple variegation. This species of Aeschynanthus has slightly lighter green immature leaves than its 'Black Pagoda' cousin. Lipstick plants love bright indirect light, with a couple hours of direct sun to see their stunning flowers. Water when top 2-3" of soil is dry. 

Climate - Native to most subtropical regions 

Light - Bright indirect to partial direct

Soil - Well-draining potting soil with peat moss and perlite

Humidity - Likes increased humidity, use pebble tray or light misting

Temperature - Typical indoor temperature acceptable, prefers temperatures above 50 degrees 

Fertilizer - Fertilize every 2 weeks during growing season with ½ concentration houseplant fertilizer
