Argentine Ivy

This tradescantia is known for its bright, short leaves that are wonderful in hanging baskets. It is one of the easier to care for tradescantia's and grows in a wonderful draping way as well as adding a pop of color to any room!

Climate - Native to tropical regions of Mexico 

Light - Extended bright indirect exposure helps the plant stay full and bushy

Soil - Well-draining potting soil

Water - Water weekly, allow top inch to dry before watering. 

Humidity - Likes increased humidity, but does not require added humidity 

Temperature - Typical indoor temperature acceptable, prefers temperatures above 65 degrees 

Fertilizer - Fertilize monthly in spring and summer with a balanced fertilizer containing macro-nutrients, fertilize every 6-8 weeks in fall and winter
